DMCA Policy

GameBuildMarket respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects sellers to do the same. We respond to clear, well-formed notices of alleged copyright infringement, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

To report a listing that infringes your copyright, send a notice through the support/report flow on the listing, including:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The specific listing URL on GameBuildMarket you're reporting.
• Your contact information (name, email, and address).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

A notice missing these elements may not be actionable under the DMCA and can delay our response.

Upon receiving a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the reported listing and notify the seller who posted it. The listing stays down while the process below runs its course.

If you're a seller whose listing was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentified, you can submit a counter-notice with:

• Identification of the listing removed and its location before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the listing was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate judicial district).
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the listing in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files for a court order preventing it.

Sellers who accumulate multiple valid infringement notices are subject to account termination, independent of any other violation of the Original Work Policy.
